Cook's Play Date is a wonderful, welcoming cross between a medieval culinary demo and a group encampment. The fires get burning around 10am, and curious souls are welcome to drop in any time -- except for about 6-7pm, when the Cooks sit down to eat dinner!

If you already know you love historical cookery and want to jump right in, join the "Cooks Play Date West An Tir War" planning group on Facebook.

Welcome to War Wednesday! Are you wondering, can I bring my dog to War? Well-behaved dogs, cats, and non-livestock birds are welcome. All dogs and adventure cats must be leashed or securely contained at all times. This is a working farm with livestock nearby. Bring proof of current vaccination, especially rabies. And, as you would anywhere else, clean up after your pets.

We hope you enjoyed the event. We have attended this War for the majority of years it has existed and are grateful to have had the opportunity to contribute to the war effort.

Now that we have had some sleep (not sure when we will get caught up) we would like to give thanks to a whole lot of folks who helped make this event one of the best on the West Coast.

First, we event stewards Cassandra Deveroux and Evren Ankaravi, would like to thank our spouses, Carrick O'Ryan (Tim O'Connell) and Neil Greenstone, who supported us with all the madness over the last several months 😉 Additionally, to the members of our War unit that came up with the idea to steward this event.
