We are thrilled to announce the winners of Oneonta's 2024 Festival of Lights! 🥳The three organizations that claimed first, second, and third place received prize money generously sponsored by Cleinman Charitable Trust. Hill City Celebrations matched an equal amount of money for winners to donate to a charity of their choice!

📣Our winners:

🥇First place: Brooks' House of BBQ (who donated their $500 matched prize to Helios Care)

🥈Second place: Oneonta's Roller Derby Team, the Hill City Rollers (who donated their $300 matched prize to Opportunities for Otsego's Violence Intervention Program)

🥉Third place: Chase Memorial Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center (who donated their $200 matched prize to the Unadilla Food Pantry)

Congratulations to all of our winners! Thank you to the dozens of organizations and businesses who participated in the 2024 festival! We can't wait to see you next year!

Everyone is invited to the LEAF Art & Poetry Contest opening gala at the Fenimore Art Museum this Thursday, October 10th from 5:30-7:00 pm!
Along with the art show, Heaven's Back Door will be playing live music with Michael Levenstein, Charlie Reiman and me and there will be snacks and poetry readings by our amazing poets!

This Friday is the deadline for the LEAF Art and Poetry Contest but if you need a few more days, just let us know!
We will be judging and hanging the show at the Fenimore the first week of October and don't miss our opening gala on October 10th! Everyone is invited!

Just a reminder to all my artist and poet friends, the LEAF Art & Poetry Contest deadline is September 20th so there's still time to get your work in!! The contest includes a show at the Fenimore Museum of Art, $2000 in prizes and a wonderful opening event at the Fenimore on September 10th.
There are no entry fees and the contest is open to all NYS residents working in any media. Please consider entering!

SUPPORT LOCAL ARTISTS! Come to the LEAF Art & Poetry Contest Opening Gala at the Fenimore Art Museum on Wednesday, September 20th! Admission is free and there will be readings by the Poets, live music and snacks.
The artwork and poetry is amazing this year so don't miss it! The show will run from September 15th through November 5th in the Community Gallery of the Fenimore.
