We are so excited to announce the winners of Oneonta's 2025 Festival of Lights! 🥳 The three organizations that claimed first, second, and third place received prize money generously sponsored by Cleinman Charitable Trust. Hill City Celebrations matched an equal amount of money for winners to donate to a charity of their choice!

📣Our winners:

🥇First place: Casella (who donated their $500 matched prize to the Veterans Outreach Center in Oneonta)

🥈Second place: Oneonta Veterinary Hospital (who are using their $300 matched prize to purchase needed supplies for Super Heroes Humane Society)

🥉Third place: Keller Williams (who split their $200 prize between the Otsego Resettlement Coalition and the Gilbertsville Food Pantry)

Congratulations to all of our winners! Thank you to the dozens of organizations and businesses who participated in the 2025 festival! We can't wait to see you next holiday season!

Join us on New Year's Eve for our First Night extravaganza at the Foothills Performing Arts Center - totally FREE to the public from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.! Enjoy fun for the whole family, including music by the amazing Bobby Curious, free carnival snacks, the Hill City Ice Queen & Friends, balloon art, juggling, local performances on the main stage, and so much more!

The 2025 Oneonta Festival of Lights in Neahwa Park is officially OPEN! Admission is free and displays will be up until January 1, 2026. Happy holidays! We hope you enjoy the creativity of more than 40 local organizations who have put together festive displays for our community to enjoy this holiday season.

We're less than a week away from opening night of Oneonta's 2025 Festival of Lights in Neahwa Park - with more than 40 organizations setting up fabulous displays! Join us on Saturday, December 13, at sundown for free hot cocoa, popcorn, homemade cookies, and visitors from the North Pole as we celebrate the first lighting! It's the most wonderful time of the year at Hill City Celebrations! We still have available spots in Neahwa Park for this year's Festival of Lights! Set-up is taking place now through December 12! 🥈Second place: Oneonta's Roller Derby Team, the Hill City Rollers (who donated their $300 matched prize to Opportunities for Otsego's Violence Intervention Program)

🥉Third place: Chase Memorial Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center (who donated their $200 matched prize to the Unadilla Food Pantry)

Opening night for this year’s Oneonta Festival of Lights, sponsored by Five Star Subaru, is on Saturday, December 14! Today, our wonderful volunteer board members of Hill City Celebrations have been busy beginning to set up in Neahwa Park. See you in less than a month!
