That's a wrap for the 99th Annual Scott County Fair! 🎠🎡

You showed up rain or shine, Scott County, and what a week it was—muddy shoes, sticky fingers, and memories sweeter than cotton candy.

Huge thanks to everyone who supported us—from events to pageants, exhibits to the midway.

Planning for year 100 is underway, and by the way, the midway packed up and—ta-da!—here comes the sun. 🌞☀️

🎉 It’s FAMILY DAY at the 99th Annual Scott County Fair! 🎉 📍 Saturday, September 6, 2025 – 154 Stanley Street, Oneida

Join us today from Noon to 3 PM for a special celebration with FREE gate admission for: 👩‍🏫 Students 👨‍🏫 School Employees 👵 Senior Citizens 🎖️ Veterans – Thank you for your service!

🎈 1 PM – FREE Kids Games under the shed by the picnic tables 🍦 Ice Cream Churning Demo by B&B Ice Cream 🎟️ Armbands just $15 for unlimited midway fun during the day!

⏳ Fairgrounds will close at 3 PM and reopen at 6 PM for the evening festivities: 🎟️ Gate Admission: $4 for adults 👧👦 Kids 11 and under get in FREE, thanks to the generosity of Mayor Jerried Jeffers 🙌 🎡 Armbands are $20 tonight for all the midway thrills!

🌈 A Rainbow After the Rain – Let the Fun Begin! 🎡

The weather may not have played nice this week at the 99th Annual Scott County Fair, but last night’s rainbow reminded us that brighter moments are ahead—and we’re taking it as a sign of good things to come for tonight and Saturday!

Tonight is all about the MIDWAY! 🎟️ Gate opens at 6 PM 👧👦 Kids 11 and under get in FREE, thanks to the generosity of Mayor Jerried Jeffers 🙌

Come out and enjoy the laughter, the lights, and the thrill of the rides. The midway is glowing, the snacks are sizzling, and the memories are waiting to be made.

What a night! We want to extend a huge THANK YOU to the Town of Oneida and all the incredible first responders who joined us last night at the Scott County Fair. Your presence lit up the evening, and your service to our community never goes unnoticed.

Special thanks to the Town of Oneida for providing FREE gate admission—your generosity made it possible for so many families to come out and celebrate together. We’re proud to live in a place where community spirit shines so brightly. 💙🚒🚓🚑

Meanwhile, some of us are still trying to find the lost stapler in the fair office.

📸 Photography entries are closed today—but everything else is fair game!

🚪 11 AM: Fairgrounds CLOSED for judging prep. Judging begins (with a lunch break at noon—because even judges need pie)

We’re proud to announce that, thanks to a generous donation from Mayor Jerried Jeffers, children under 11 years old will receive FREE gate admission to the Scott County Fair on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night!

This thoughtful gift helps make the fair more accessible for families and ensures our youngest fairgoers can enjoy all the fun—from rides and games to cotton candy and community pride—without worrying about the cost at the gate.
