The final open casting call for "Descent" will be Sunday, July 12th at 2pm at The Cornerstone Mansion.

We're at it again. We're shooting a pilot late summer - the working title is DESCENT!
Why? Because it's a reflection; a foreshadowing, if you will, of what happens thematically and to the characters as the story, overtime, unfolds.
That given the right set of circumstances, we all can potentially descend into dark places; into behaviors that we would not ever have imagined ourselves doing. DESCENT will ultimately ask a very poignant question: How much evil can one do in the name of good before becoming EVIL?

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN
RYAN DANIELS: Male, White, Early 30’s. Tall. An architect, intelligent and ambitious. A man on the way up.
MARCIE: Female, mid 30’s, Jasmine’s secretary; neurotic – the curious sort. She’s slightly overweight finding comfort in junk food – mainly donuts. (Reoccurring)
EMILY DANIELS: Female, White, late 20’s – 30’s. Slim, attractive, statuesque yet somewhat fragile. Wife of Ryan, she’s unquestionable devoted to him and their daughter Amy.
CLAIRE DANIELS: Female, White, 60’s. Ryan’s mother. A hypochondriac. She is attractive for her age, yet overdone; makeup, dress and attitude. Cruelty comes easy to her.
FRANK DANIELS: Male, White, 60’s. Ryan’s dad. The “Father Knows Best Type”. His demeanor is calm and comforting. It has to be - he’s married to Claire.
AMY DANIELS: Female, White, 6 – 10, vibrant, and outgoing. A charmer.
NURSE: Female, 30’s – 60’s
JANICE: Female, 20’s, student. She has an almost child-like quality about her.
RICKY MATTHEWS: Male, white, 20’s, student. A rapper/thug “wanna be” wears hip hop clothing an speaks with an exaggerated urban dialect.
NEAL DANIELS: Male, White, 30’s. The, alcoholic, younger brother of Ryan. He’s been in and out of jail most of his life; Never quite measured up to his brother’s accomplishments or his mother’s expectations. Though socially and morally adrift – he’s subconsciously searching for his “true north”
Gino: Male bartender, 30’s & up
Lora: Female School guidance counselor, Late 20’s & up
Female Resident: Female hospital resident
Tammy: Female, 30’s-50’s, Frances’ lover – (reoccurring)
Big and Burly: Male, 30’s-50’s, Inmate
Sergeant Muldowny: Female, 30’s-50’s
Officer: Male, 20’s-50’s
Reporter: Male or Female, 20’s-60’s
Kirkwood: Male, Black, Acquitted client
Maggie Schwerner: Female, White, late 20’s-40’s
Mr. Schwerner: Male, White, mid 20’s-40’s
