Baxter Arena for the 2024 Claussen-Leahy Maverick Run!

8:00 a.m. | Doors Open
8:30 a.m. | Kids Race Begins
9:00 a.m. | 10K Run Begins
9:05 a.m. | 5K Run Begins
9:10 a.m. | 5K Walk Begins
10:30 a.m. | Announcements
11:00 a.m. | Event Concludes

For registrants who live in Omaha, you are required to pick up your packets during the time slot (Wednesday or Friday) you selected when filling out the form. Packet pickup is at Baxter Arena in the Hall of Fame room (enter through the main entrance; it is a glass meeting room to the left of the ticketing office).

Packet Pickup Times
Wednesday, April 17 | 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Friday, April 19 | 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

During packet pickup on Wednesday, you are welcome to park in Lot 25. On Friday’s packet pickup, please park in Lot 27 or Lot 21. We will be setting up the race start/finish area on Friday.
On Saturday, April 20, we advise you to park in Lots 21, 22, 23, and 27. Lot 25 will be closed. See map below.

Please dress accordingly to the weather. Saturday, April 20’s forecast looks mostly cloudy, with a high of 53 and a low of 33 degrees. The morning temperatures are projected to feel like 30 degrees, and the wind speed is 8.7 mph. Bundle up or cool down!

In case you haven’t heard, we are returning to the Maverick Run’s roots: all proceeds support Omaha Women’s Athletics! Omaha Athletics appreciates your support & participation; we are looking forward to welcoming you to another great event!

We have over 30 vendors, a kid inflatable play area, and a beer garden (for 21+ only)!
