⚾ 🚂 College baseball fans and train fans will get a chance to see Union Pacific’s newest commemorative locomotive during the 2025 NCAA Men’s College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska! ⚾ 🚂
Our new will be on display at Union Pacific's Home Plate June 13-22, right next to the at Charles Schwab Field Omaha. It will be joined by several historic passenger cars from our one-of-a-kind Heritage Fleet.
The Lincoln Locomotive was painted in a color scheme unique to President Abraham Lincoln’s era. It celebrates the pivotal role the nation’s 16th president played in uniting the nation and laying the foundation for America’s freight rail supply chain. Lincoln founded Union Pacific in 1862 when he signed the Pacific Railway Act, approving construction of the transcontinental railroad.
