Women's Moon Run

It is with a heavy heart that we share with you that we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel the 2017 Moon Run. Unfortunately, this is a very expensive race to put on and registrations for this year's event are exceptionally low... too low to cover the costs to put on the race. We are so sorry!

We hope to be back next year at a different time of year (read: sans the scorching heat) and with a return of the half marathon option (read: yeah!!!)! We've got plans...

If you registered for this year's race, please check your emails for information on how to get a refund on your registration.

We look forward to seeing you all in 2018 with a new, improved and much cooler event!

One of the best things about the Moon Run is that the sun often SHINES on race day. In the midst of all of this rain we've been getting, that's a darn good thing! :)

Registration is only $20. Time to make it happen, all!!!

Whew!!! Turns out, the CHS Track (the home of our race) will be under construction on race day this year. THANK YOU for your patience as we figured out a plan B for where to host our annual party with you all!

Registration is now (finally!) open!!! We will be starting/finishing at Marathon Park in downtown Olympia this year.

Are YOU ready to Run Like A GRRRRL?! LET'S DO THIS!!!

Olympia's only  women's only  run. Grab your girlfriends and let's have a much needed ladies night! You will be escorted down the finish chute by CHS Debate Team members, who will be suited up and ready to serve! They will provide you with your *bling* and direct you to the chocolate!...

Another wonderful year of Moon Running! Thank you to everyone that came out for the race (STRONG!), to all of the amazing volunteers, and to all of the sponsors. It takes a team to make these races happen... we are very thankful for ours! Your efforts help the CHS Debate Team compete all of the state and beyond. RUN LIKE A GIRL!!!

It's race day! It's race day! We are over-the-moon excited to see you this evening! A few friendly reminders (please share):

1. Packet pick-up will begin at 5PM at the Capital High School track.

2. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $1/each. The raffle will be held at 6:45PM. You do NOT have to be present to win (if you're not there when your name is called, we'll call you and tell you where to pick up your prize!). As always we have AMAZING prizes from so many... Penrose Physical Therapy, Vivala, Swing Wine Bar Cafe, Compass Rose, Audrey Marshall LMP, Olympia Lakefair Run, Guerilla Running and so much more!!!

3. This event supports the CHS Debate Team. Many of the Debaters will be there tonight... be sure to say "Hi!" and ask how this event helps with their efforts every year.

4. Head over to Swing Wine Bar Cafe after the event wearing your *bling!* and enjoy 10% off your meal. You'll have earned it!

5. BIG SHOUT OUT TO ALL OF THE VOLUNTEERS THAT MAKE THESE EVENTS POSSIBLE! Be sure to fist-bump, high-five, thank the folks volunteering to make your experience a great one!

Race starts promptly at 6PM. Arrive a bit early, please, and we encourage you to carpool!
