Bit of a lag with Spring Break, but big congrats goes out to Yancey Potter for finishing off the Race the 901 Series with a personal course PR, and taking top Grand Master at the Germantown Half Marathon last weekend!

Super excited as Laura Mathews took the USA Triathlon Aquabike National Championship Overall win in Miami this morning! Great way to finish off the season!!!

The swim was cancelled at Ironman 70.3 Texas this morning, so it ended up being a time-trial start on the bike. Preliminary results, it looks like Laura Mathews was 12 overall and the 2nd amateur in her first half-Ironman, taking the Female 18-24 win!

I did my first multisport event in the spring of 2006 at a local gym that hosted an indoor triathlon. Today, I continue to strive to become better and am excited to see where I can eventually take my racing.

So proud of Laura's continued improvement and defending her Age Group Sprint National title, again! So close to the overall win, only 3 seconds back from our area's own Kirsten Sass.
