The Long Island Fair

The Long Island Fair is one of the longest running fairs in New York State.

Starting in 1842 the fairs were held on vacant lots and farmers fields. 183 years later the fair will be held at Old Bethpage Village Restoration this September 12, 13 and 14.

Whether it’s artwork, handmade crafts, fresh flowers, or homegrown produce, competitive exhibit entry registration opens May 15 for Long Islanders of all ages. Winners will take home blue ribbons, cash prizes — and bragging rights! Plus, each exhibitor will receive one free admission ticket to the fair.
