For Grades K-12
Create a one-of-a-kind mixed-media artwork by combining photo transfers, drawings, paint, collage papers, and textured layers on a hardboard panel. Students will explore color, composition, texture, and storytelling while developing their own creative style.

Casting call for K-8th Graders!

The Tortoise and the Hare is part of Missoula Childrenā€™s Theatreā€™s unique international touring project and is presented by The Pearson Lakes Art Center.

Open auditions are for 50-60 student roles, plus 4 assistant directors for K-8th graders. All students are encouraged to audition. Most students rehearse around 4 hours per day.

No advance preparation is necessary, but each student must pre-register.
Registration cost is $25. Before registering your child, please make sure your child is able to attend all required rehearsals and show performances. If more than 60 children audition, not all children auditioning will receive a part. If your child does not receive a role, the $25 registration fee will be refunded.

What a great turnout for the opening of Of Many Parts: The Work of John Pigg in the Goodenow Gallery.

John Pigg has an incredible eye for detail, and it shows through in his intricate wood forms. This is the kind of exhibition that invites you to slow down, look closer, and explore from every angle.
