Please share to someone you may know on a rodeo committee.
Please share to someone you may know whom is willing to watch a youth sport grow.
Roughstock 101 and it's parent company have been at work on trying to find a way to bring more young athletes into our sport.
The sport of rodeo is in my opinion as American As It Gets.
I need investors/ partners/ sponsorship. I would like the sport behind my program. There are many programs out there. All of these programs out there are soliciting to precidented players.
When I found the solution on my own just last year. All I could think was I was right, nearly 30 years ago. But I had to let people tell me that won't work. I'm sorry, but they lied. They did not know obviously what I meant, or how I meant it. Some of them probably don't care. That sums it up.
It has been my main goal to reach unprecedented players
I have sent email after email, two people who don't understand.
Nearly three decades ago I gave a solution. Many people laughed and scoffed about it. With that said I kind of Let It Go by the wayside.
Only those that understand Rodeo for the most part agreed with me down at the PRCA convention that this formula stands a great chance of working. I know it works. We put all the ingredients in the pot last year. Our numbers doubled and tripled. Kids from Urban and Suburban areas that have never been exposed. I can tell you stories on here until I'm blue in the face.
I desperately need Rodeo committees or anyone who's willing to make an investment in the future of Our rough stock Riders to call me. As a team we can all work together to make this work. I am open for other suggestions. However with 30 years into looking at the psychology and a way to try and get more youth involved.
When I can put on an event and my youth involvement numbers double and triple, I know the ingredients I have are what is needed.
Intelligence is a key factor here, I will repeat myself here,
I have 30 years in trying to figure this out.
When you want a roof built, you call a roofer. When you want a horse broke, if you don't know how to do it you, go to a horse trainer.
This is an investment to invest in our future. There is nothing negative about that. With success comes hate, that is all something we need to learn to live with. Including myself.
I don't feel we have the time to put this off any longer. I can give you references if you need.
I have the ingredients to grow our industry. Again this is not about me, this is about our industry, our Western Heritage, and a sport we love.
You can't appoint someone to do something in a manner of professionalism with the desire , if they don't have the love for it.
