Wiggle Out Loud

The festival returns from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016 at a NEW location in the Myriad Botanical Gardens!

Wiggle Out Loud is a free, active-family music festival in downtown Oklahoma City that aims to get kids of all ages movin’ and groovin’ their way to healthier lives. Top local, regional and national touring acts will rock center stage, providing the upbeat soundtrack for a variety of health and fitness related activities spanning the park. Noel Jacobs, Ph.D., OU Health pediatric psychologist, created an animated video with the goal of helping children and families cope during the COVID-19 pandemic. Made in conjunction with OU student artists, “The Martin Family Dinner” is designed to help children understand issues relating to the pandemic and to help parents have a safe and supportive dialogue with their children. “Our hope is that this inspires families toward better conversations and more positive time together as we wait for the vaccine,” Jacobs said. http://wiggleoutloud.org/

The Children’s Hospital VOLUNTEERS is the charity partner for Wiggle Out Loud. Sponsors, discounted services, creative collaborations and donations allow the festival to be free for families and help The Children's Hospital VOLUNTEERS offer creative arts programs that help kids feel like kids, instead of patients.
