Yesterday I was able to do a beautiful, private, mini wedding ceremony at the gorgeous Will Roger's Gardens wjike in full bloom. Even though it looked like it would rain, by the time we did the ceremony, the clouds had moved on and we had clear, perfect blue skies. I would take that as a good omen. ✨️

Date night at in Oklahoma City. This is a new restaurant that mixes Japanese with a slightly French twist and specializes in seafood and steak. Everything we had was delicious, even the cocktail, and the sushi rolls were girthy, so I should've just ordered one 🤣
The price point is a little on the higher side, but you definitely get your money's worth. The atmosphere was a mix of fine dining elegance and modern trendy with great service!

Featured here are their miso soup, ginger salad, Pear Pressure roll, Japanese Curry, Baked Salmon roll, and brulee cheesecake with cherry/ginger topping.

To me "mothering" is a verb. The action of caregiving. It has no gender or blood ties.

Thank you to all the people that care for, support, and love a child. You make all the difference in the world. Thank you to those who see an animal in need of care and share your life with them. Thank you to everyone who has held my hand through heartache, lifted me up, took care of me when I was sick, and harassed me to drink enough water.
And of course, thank you to the woman who brought me into this world, taught me to be a decent human being, and keeps mothering me even at 47. 🤣
