Ojai Mardi Gras Art Fools We're the artists who create the art for the annual Ojai Mardi Masquerade Ball & Fais Do Do Cajun Family Dance Party.

Come join us! 1st weekend in March every year at the Ojai Art Center, 113 South Montgomery Street Ojai, CA The Art Fools start envisioning and planning the Art and Decorations for our Annual Weekend Event about 6 months before the event. Each year, the Krewe decides on a whimsical, sometimes irreverent Theme to build the Event around. Producing Art Director(s), and Krewe begin the creative process of bringing the Theme to life.

WoW! The Art Exhibit is the best ever! Iris has yet out done herself again curating some of the most FANTASTIC artwork in Ojai--Gallery & Hall cases are Amazing! The Art Center exterior, the Entryway are awash in Ojai Mardi Gras memorabilia, artwork, photos...you HAVE to come see it all! Great work, ya'll! Let the godd times roll........C Ya'll tomorrow and Sunday!

OK, Folks, it's Official: we are in the Ojai July 4th Parade (Friday, July 4), right behind Shane's Ojai Concert Series flatbed with Smitty's Band on it!!! YAY!

Doojie will drive his Delorean with "Back tot he Future 25 Years of Ojai Mardi Gras" banners on each side, and Queens Kristina and Connie will follow up in Kristina's 1960 Valiant convertible.

Line up is on Ojai Ave. between Country Club Drive and 33/150 "Y" intersection at 9am, parade starts at 10am.

So...if you wanna ride on Shane's flatbed, let him know and be at line-up at 9am on Friday--first come, first seat! Bring water, drinks, and hat and/or parasol and costumed and/or red, white and blue clothing. If not, walk or ride your decorated bike.

We'll be loading-in and decorating the Flatbed and the cars and have a van full of decorations for your bikes on Thursday 5pm--dusk at Smitty's Euterpe Farms field, 587 Rice Rd ( https://www.facebook.com/pages/Euterpe-Farms-Ojai-Valley-Native-Plants-and-Music/227134564038452 Bring decoration contributions--red, white, blue, purple, yellow, green, Mardi Gras and "Back to the Future" theme!

Let's make a SPLASH to promo our 25th Anniversary Ojai Mardi Gras 2015 "Back to the Future".......forward/ pass this along and let's get lotsa OMG-ers and Krewe with us!
