And then there was the run! The trails and trees provided welcomed relief from the cloudless skies! What?! Tyson Wieland set the bar high with 34:37 10K! And Jess Smith was not far behind clocking a 39:26! In the 5K our overall winner, Carson Deichman clocked the fastest time of 18:59. The women's race was close with Shaylyn Green DeYoung hitting a 21:47 split with Valentina Salotti only 9 seconds behind in 21:56! What a race! Can't wait to see you next year in mid-August again! 📸 Dave Mable

It really was a perfect windless day for a bike ride! Christian Sande powered his way to a 1:04:04 for the fastest 40K split of the day and Jess Smith posted a 1:07:23 as the fastest female and fourth fastest overall. In the Sprint Jim Hagelie rocked out a 36:53 while Valentina Salotti crushed a 43:00 on the rural roads north of Ogden. 📸 Dave Mable

With a new time-trial start at the marina on Don WIlliams Lake, the swim was a refreshing way to kick off the race on a cloudless August day! Tyson Wieland had the fastest Olympic swim in 22:00 and Jess Smith had the fastest women's time in 23:38. Carson Deichman swam fastest in the Sprint in 8:05 and Shaylyn DeYoung and Raegan Wooldridge came out together in 8:26. Thanks also to our many paddlers and boaters who kept the race safe! 📸 Dave Mable .
