Today, we pause with the rest of Odessa to honor Lieutenant Isai Huerta.

Moments like these remind us what community is all about—coming together to support one another, to remember, and to honor those who have served others so selflessly. Today, we join many across Odessa in remembering a man whose dedication left a lasting impact on our community.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and Odessa Fire Rescue today and in the days ahead.

Thank you, Lieutenant Huerta, for your service, sacrifice, and dedication to the Odessa community. ❤️🚒

The funeral service and memorial procession will be taking place Tuesday, June 23, to honor Odessa Fire Rescue Lt. Isai Huerta who died after being hurt in a trailer fire last week Sunday.

First Alert 7 will provide live coverage of the funeral service and memorial procession.
