Another Light Up the Lake in the books! Despite some afternoon weather anxiety we had a perfect evening. The concert, the parade and fireworks were all wonderful!! We are so grateful for our generous fireworks donors ( list to come soon), our boat parade participants, the American Legion Band, and our PD and WLFD for keeping us safe on the water. It was a BIG weekend for Oconomowoc and you all showed up and got out to have some fun!! Thanks for your support.

Looking for feedback on the lighted boat parade. The weather has not been a friend to our events the last two years and we know how much effort goes into the floats. Should we attempt to pull together a boat parade for 2026? What is the interest level please? Appreciate your input…..

Hello Friends of Light Up Lac LaBelle,

I need 2-3 committed individuals to help with this year’s events. It’s mostly fun “work”, but needs a small but mighty team to work behind the scenes. It is crunch time right now and I haven’t been able to find anyone willing to help. If you are interested, please email or call Paige at: [email protected]
262-569-3230 asap

Thanks!!

A huge THANK YOU to all of the people who love and support our events! We appreciate all of you! It was an “interesting” year thanks to Mother Nature, but we still had a little fun.

Please head over to check out the thank you poster and boat parade pics in the window at Stapleton Realty on N Main in Oconomowoc.

This team is looking for a few enthusiastic volunteers to organize Light Up the Lake 2026.
