Big news for the Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival 🎨
For the first time in festival history, we’re inviting local and regional artists to submit original artwork for the official festival T-shirt design!
Hosted annually by the Ocean Springs Chamber–Main Street in downtown Ocean Springs, this nationally recognized festival welcomes more than 100,000 visitors each year and is the largest fine arts festival in Mississippi. Now, artists have a unique opportunity to become part of that legacy.
“We are excited to invite artists into this piece of the festival’s history,” said CEO Cynthia Sutton. “The festival has a rich artistic heritage tied to the Anderson family and the creative spirit of Ocean Springs. This call allows artists to help tell that story while honoring the legacy that has defined the event for decades.”
Design guidelines:
• Submit one original design
• No text, numbers, or typography included
• Reflect Ocean Springs’ arts culture, coastal environment, architecture, or community life
• Preferred styles: pen and ink, hand-drawn illustration, or work inspired by the Anderson tradition
• Must be original and suitable for screen printing
• Artwork size: 18” x 24”
Eligibility:
Open to local and regional artists with a connection to Ocean Springs or the Mississippi Gulf Coast
Deadline:
All submissions must be received by noon on May 1
Submission details:
Include your name, phone number, email, and a brief bio on a separate sheet. Submissions can be mailed or delivered to the Ocean Springs Chamber–Main Street office.
