We have an updated line up for Galway Bay’s ABC3 Festival:
Welcome Ed Kramer and Paul Steuermann!
Cowboy singer Hank Cramer will perform at Galway Bay Irish Pub's ABC3 Festival in Ocean Shores on January 30-February 2, accompanied by master instrumentalist "Banjo Ed" Kramer on 5-string banjo and mandolin. They will share the stage with their friend and special guest Paul Steuerman, a popular and talented poet on the "cowboy gathering" circuit.
Hank has been performing at the Galway Bay Pub since 1993, and has released 24 CDs in his career as well as several movie soundtracks. Although best known as a Celtic balladeer, Hank sings a broad repertoire of cowboy and Appalachian songs as well. His touring circuit has included the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering at Elko, NV; the Sharlot Hall Gathering in Prescott, AZ; the Montana Cowboy Gathering; Jubilee Days in Laramie, WY; and the National Trails Center in Casper, WY. Hank and Ed have been playing music together for 35 years, since first meeting at an Irish pub in Denver. Ed is highly in demand as both a studio recording sideman and as an on-stage performer. He has been featured at the Philadelphia Folk Festival; the Tumbleweed Folk Festival; Northwest Folklife; Spokane Fall Folk Festival; Tall Ships Festival on the Great Lakes; and Black Rose Acoustic Society. Ed has recorded over a dozen albums with Hank.
Paul Steuerman is a working cowboy from Okanogan County, Washington. He is well-known as a performer of both his original poetry as well as classics of western literature. He is so funny that he is sometimes taken for a stand-up comedian, but can quickly change gears into serious and sometimes heartbreaking verse about the trials of western life. He has performed at the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering at Elko; taught at Cowboy Music & Poetry Camp along with Don Edwards, Smoke Wade, and Juni Fisher; and performs annually at an exclusive cowboy music gathering in the remote village of Stehekin, WA. He has released an album of his favorite poems, titled "Pure Pony Marbles".
Hank, Ed, and Paul look forward to performing together at Ocean Shores, and bringing you an energetic mix of cowboy and Appalachian ballads, awesome bluegrass instrumentals, and moving poetry of the American West.
