OC Rock and Ride Bikefest took a major push to save, and keeping it going remains a challenge. Tyler and I want to THANK the Town of Ocean City teams for working with us over the last two years. We truly appreciate it.

We also want to thank the OCMD Hospitality Association and its members for all their help. “Teamwork with Respect.” You all ROCK — this event would be gone without YOU!!

A HUGE THANK YOU to the many bikers, vendors and sponsors. Without YOUR help, this event would go away. It is NOT sustainable without YOU. We truly tried to keep it affordable and fun for all, and we accomplished that goal.

OC Rock and Ride was a success for the Delmarva area. Bikers and enthusiasts from all over the country visited our community and supported our businesses. This event helped waitresses, bartenders, salespeople, hotel staff, retail staff and so many others. It kept our community busy during what otherwise would have been a slow week. Last year’s estimated turnout was approximately 500,000 people and 200,000 motorcycles. We believe we had an even larger turnout this year.

For the second year in a row, our controlled venues had no issues. We created a fun, eventful experience for those who attended, with stunt shows, motorcycle shows, the Boardwalk parade, photo ops, Rock the Mic, bikini contests, fireworks, a drone show and incredible music all four days. We also raised money for charities, which was very rewarding.

Lastly, our thoughts and prayers go out to those involved in accidents while visiting the Delmarva community. God bless all the visitors, bikers and families affected.

After an incredible week of OC Rock & Ride / Ocean City Bike Week, the Ocean City Inlet had to be cleared, cleaned and returned to normal — and the incredible team at Royal Plus made it happen.

This time lapse shows just a fraction of the work that happens after the crowds leave and the gates close.

A HUGE thank you to Royal Plus, Inc. for the manpower, equipment, long hours and hard work behind the scenes. Not only helping us bring this event to life, but helping us leave the Inlet looking like we were never there.

We truly could not do it without them.
