Art of Surfing Festival Art of Surfing Festival exhibits, commemorates, and celebrates surf culture in South Jersey.

We are a 20 year old art festival that happens every year in Ocean City NJ. The Art of Surfing Festival happens at the Historic Music Pier in OCNJ. We started from a small one room art gallery to now filling the music pier with local artists who sell their art. All of the art is surf/beach related, with a few smaller varieties in between. Our artists include the standard painters to jewelry makers

and even a wood artisan turning out surfboard inspired coffee tables! We want to promote the art culture and the surf culture as well as the beautiful way they can be married together.

Our call to artists for this year’s show is now closed, and we’re truly blown away by the response. We received more entries than ever before, and we’re incredibly grateful to every artist who shared their work with us. With space being very limited, we’ll be taking the time to carefully go through each submission. We truly wish we could include everyone. This show is built on the spirit above—where surf culture lives, where community gathers, and where the ocean connects us—and we believe every piece of art created from that love of the sea is something special. Thank you for being part of it and for the time you took to send in your submissions.

It's that time of year again, and we're showing up sooner than layer this year! Our call to artists is now live! We had such success last year with so many applicants, we want to be able to take more time so we can get to everyone who enters!

We take immense pride in this show and hope to keep it growing and evolving year over year. We want to curate something truly special, and we hope that it resonates within.

To enter, please email us at [email protected] by March 1st. Tell us your name, where you're from, what type of art you make, 4-5 images of your work, surf photos, how long you've been surfing, who or what inspires you, why you want to and why you think you'd be a good fit for our show?

If you've been invited in the past, you must still enter as space is limited and not guaranteed.

It takes a lot of time and energy to get this show up and running, and to see it all come together in the end is a beautiful thing.
