What an honor and a joy to participate in the Seligman Centennial Celebration to spread the word about the 5th Annual Route 66 Ultrarun Nov 14-16, 2026. We appreciate everyone that stopped by for free swag featuring custom creations by our artist Karlee Iacino. The Father of Historic Route 66 Angel Delgadillo received recognition for his incredible achievement and his continuing work at 99 years young. Fun DJ, great vendors, amazing band and swing dancers, and more. What a KICK!

Yes, 👟 the world’s best Centennial 🎊 ultra has a higher purpose! đŸ’ȘđŸ» While we’re 💯 ultra geeks (and legendary ones at that), this one is personal, too. We’re raising $ and awareness for because one of our best friends has early onset. Doesn’t mean you can’t have an incredible time 🌈 on our spectacular course! Just know you’re running for a lot more than the coolest belt buckles in the biz. ;)

Meet Andy Payne. We named our Winner’s Award after him. The story of why is amazing


It was called The Bunion Derby
 199 runners — yes, runners — left Los Angeles on March 4, 1928 headed along what there was of Route 66 for New York City.

Incredibly, 55 runners made it across the continental US, completing the ultimate running stage race on May 26th.

The inaugural race was won by Andy Payne in a total time of 573 hours, 4 minutes, and 34 seconds.

Our race honors and celebrates not just this feat but the incredible history and present of everyone whose lives have been influenced by America’s Mother Road
 Route 66.

Spots are still open for our 100-Mile Centennial race and our classic 140-Miler! Both are November 14-16, 2026.

Honestly it’s a course & experience like no other! C’mon out, it’s gonna be an amazing celebration of the Centennial of famed Route 66. Run solo (with a crew) or put together an adventurous Relay. Whatever ya do, you’ll be part of history and have insane stories.
