Hello everybody just wanted to update you on my weekend at Albany Sand Drags, it wasn’t what we had hoped for but the car ran very well, we are currently 4th in Pro and 8th in Sport, our next race will be Labor Day weekend test and tune Friday, Racing Saturday and sunday, it will be double points race and will hope to see you out there thank you again for all your support

I am Brenton Whitney 16 year old driver of the #15 sand drag car. I have raced quads since I was 11 years old but started racing this drag car when I was 14. This is a 406 Chevy small block, dual 650 carbs, power glide transmission and runs on 100 octane airplane fuel. We race on a 300ft sand/dirt track. I have taken 1st-5th place for overall season races for the past 2 years in sport and pro classes out of 30-35+ racers.
I am thankful to my parents for supporting my racing dream and thankful for my Grandpa and Uncle for being the best pit crew and helping make sure the car is mechanically ready to race.
I race at Albany sand drags, Riddle sand drags and hope to be able to travel down to California to Avenal and Soboba sand drags.
I am hoping to find sponsors and or donations to help me continue my racing dream. If you would like to or know anyone who would like to sponsor/donate to a young racer please contact me (541-654-9788)
(Any sponsors will be advertised on my race car and apparel along with shout-outs on my social media pages)
