Sound Bath tonight (and every Third Tuesday) in Oakland at The Working Body on Grand. Get some healing as you melt into sweet calming sounds! Suggested donation of $15-30, but give whatever you can to support this art and yourself!

A Sound Bath is a live, immersive, meditative experience which works acoustically on your brain, body, and soul. As you sit or lie down with eyes closed, sound vibrations wash over you, taking you on an inward journey. Similar to meditation, sound baths stimulate your parasympathetic nervous system....

We can not wait to see LEX on the Henry J. Stage at the Eastlake Music Festival on May 27th!

Alex Sun Liu (LEX) is a rapper, writer, and professional artist. LEX coined the term "Smart Trap" - a style of rap with emphases on comedic storytelling, social awareness, weird wordplay and complex rhyming - to capture her sound. "Smart Trap" is inspired by "Nerdcore Rap" - a style of rap with emphases on video games, comics, anime, and nerd fandom.

LEX uses her complex language, personal lyrics, multisyllabic rhymes and comedic flair to deliver a unique perspective of a “third-culture” female millennial transplant living in the Bay Area. She aims to shock and entertain audiences while fighting anti-intellectualism in America.
