ATTN: Pro, Cat 1, Cat 2, and Cat 3 men: We have to combine your fields for the road race. There simply are not enough officials to run separate fields like we planned.

All payouts and scoring remain the same. Cat 3s will be scored separately and will be eligible only for Cat 3 payouts.

The start time is 8:35 AM on Saturday.

Sunday traffic alert: there is a wide load with highway patrol es**rt traveling past the entrance to the crit course on Sunday. Be prepared for traffic delays and allow extra time to get to the crit.

Early packet pickup is Friday night, April 1 from 6-8 PM eastern at Crafter’s Brew in Oak Ridge (856 Oak Ridge Turnpike). If you don’t come to early pickup you can check in at registration anytime during the weekend before your first race.

Everyone should be prepared to show your USAC license because the USAC database we can see is not always up-to-date. Teammates can pick up numbers for each other but have everyone’s license screenshot handy please.

Remember, according to USAC rules, you cannot wear a kit with sponsor logos in a race unless you are on that team and it is a USAC club. That means no Jumbo Visma kits and no triathlon club kits for example.

If you have purchased a separate TBRA membership and plan to use your TBRA number, you MUST bring the number to the registration table so we can update the computer records.

We still really need more volunteers to help this race run as smoothly as it has every year in the past. Please, please, please consider signing up for a volunteer shift yourself or asking your friends/family to do so. If you are not staying for the TT you could help set up the course or volunteer during it. You can drive a wheel/lead vehicle for the wave of races before or after your road race. You could help set up the crit course or help break it down after you’re done racing. Many hands make light work! THANK YOU!

Last weekend’s great snow must have been Third Winter and the greenish yellow tint on everything clearly means we are now in The Pollening. Therefore, ACTUAL SPRING is so close you can taste it! We are just over two weeks away from race weekend! We can’t stress enough how critical volunteers are to the continued production of the high-quality race everyone has come to expect. So, we need you, your family, or friends to consider stepping up. You do not need to be local to be a volunteer and it’s possible to race and volunteer! There are many positions where you can stay off your feet. Driving a lead car or a wheel truck is a GREAT way to see the race. Please, spread the word and help us fill the volunteer slots to make this another awesome weekend!
