A message from the Young Gaelic Association!

YGA Happy Hour🍻
Friday June 5th at The Carraig GairdĂ­n Beorach (Beer Garden!)

We’re cooking up some specials with Chicago Gaelic Park for our first Happy Hour of the summer! This is a great opportunity to kick off the summer by seeing friends or making friends!

We’ll start the fun at 6:30pm. Local legend Gerry Haughey will hit the Beer Garden stage at 7pm.

Born in Dublin in 1882, James Joyce is one of Ireland’s most well known writers. His 1922 book Ulysses is widely considered to be the most influential novel of the modern era.

“You’ll See…” presented by is the perfect introduction to “Ulysses” for people of all ages to enjoy! The book is notoriously difficult to read, so “You’ll See…” is greet for those who haven’t gotten around to finishing it yet!

We are delighted that Branar (Co. Galway) is bringing “You’ll See…” to Chicago Gaelic Park on Wednesday, May 20th🎭

Branar is one of Ireland’s leading theatre companies making work for children. Based in the West of Ireland, Branar is renowned for creating highly imaginative and beautiful work.

“You’ll See…” combines live performance, intricate paper design, an original score and James Joyce’s odyssey. This is theatre that will excite both young and old.
