What are your plans for Friday night, September 25? How about a nice (free) indoor event?
Chelsea Players presents an Equinox Jam, a free concert by Rebel Sheep, an original progressive folk rock group, Friday, September 25 from 7-9 pm, at Casa UCC (formerly United Congregational Church), 87 Broadway in Norwich.
A veteran Chelsea Player, guitarist Tim Moore is an English teacher and drama director at Griswold High School. He co-founded Rebel Sheep with bassist Phil Michel five years ago. Moore has written the majority of the music, with the band members adding their own arrangements and compositions. Everyone in the band sings, adding their unique harmonies and counter melodies to the blend.
The group has performed on the Lebanon Green and at Brookside Farm Museum, the East Lyme High School Planetarium, and Dexter's Tunes, Tales and Ales in East Hampton. For further information on the Rebel Sheep, email Tim Moore at [email protected].
The concert will be held in the lower level of the church. There is plenty of free parking in the two deck lot next to the church, across from the side entrance of City Hall
