For anyone interested, as long as it doesn't rain we will be heading to the Rails to Trails to walk in honor and remembrence of all the kids who are fighting or have lost their fight to cancer. If you are in the Norwalk area and would like to join us we are meeting at 1:45 and going to start our walk at 2pm. Thanks to you all.

Just wanted to let you all know that the Rails to Trails is occuppied this Sunday due to the Trail opening up their Monroeville branch. Right now it is tenative for Sunday the 30th. Could anyone who would like to participate please let me know. What I am thinking of is charging $10 per person (no t-shirt) to donate to St. Jude's or Littlest Heros. Please let me know as I said what ya all think and again whether or not you could come. Thanks. And if you would like to make a donation to St. Jude's and need the address please pm me and I will get you the info.

As of today, I have not heard anything about being able to use the Rails for Trails for our Run : ( Here are my thoughts...whomever wants to run/walk on September 23rd lets meet at the North West St. Trail at 2pm. and do it as a group. You can run or walk and if you would like to make a donation to either St. Jude's or the The Littlest Heros then I will collect it at that point and send them all in. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Pass on the information to anyone who you think would love to support us.

I just wanted to let you all know that we are awaiting word from the Committee from Rails to Trails (Northwest St. Trail Head) to see if we are able to hold our run their this year. Just as soon as I know something I will post it and hopefully get the ball going. Thanks again for all your support.

Just found out today that another wonderful adult soul has been diagnosed with an agressive form of brain cancer. Please say prayers for her family. We will also be making an announcement within the week concerning our 2nd annual Dakota's Run. Thanks to all who participated last year. Hope to see you all again this year.

Ok everyone, I have been getting asked this question quite a bit here lately and wanted to put this out in front of you all to see what you think. I am so hoping you will all be behind us on this.

This year I was going to skip doing the Dakota's Run because Dakota has been involved helping the Littlest Heros which helps families of children with cancer in a lot of different ways. As most of you know our dear little friend Michael has had a relapse and has had to step up the plate and fight again against this terrible disease. What I would like to know is if we hold a Walk/Run this year at the Rails to Trails here in Norwalk would you all consider participating and would you be ok with not receiving medals and knowing your times? I would like to hold this as a fundraiser for either the Littlest Heros or St. Jude's (your choice) and donate in honor of Michael and Karlie (another dear friend who also continues to fight) as they both continue to fight. I would see what I can do about t-shirts if that would work for you all. Please let me know your thoughts either way and I will keep you all updated. Thanks so much for your continued support.

Just wanted to remind everyone...we are having a Pay It Forward Bake Sale this Sunday November 6th from 9 am - Noon at Schild's IGA. All proceeds raised will be donated to the PiggyBack Foundation, a non-profit Norwalk based organization who helps out local families with life threatening situations. I hope you will all come and support a great organization!

Hey Everyone! Happy Friday to ya. Just wanted to drop you all a note and ask for your help...I am all for Breast Cancer Awareness and all they do for the women and men who fight for that terrible disease, but how about giving ourselves a goal for next September. Let's see who we can influence to turn their work place, favorite NFL/AFL, Basketball and Baseball Teams and whomever else we can think of to turn it GOLD in September 2012. Please post your ideas and let's see what we can do TOGETHER!
