Had my Mister dig 45 peony plants from the field with his backhoe yesterday so I can move them to my new garden closer to the house. Have a lot of work ahead of me stripping them down to bare root and replanting.

Released one monarch on Thursday and this one on Saturday. The third emerged partially and upon further inspection, sadly was not fully developed. I still have another three that went into chrysalis stage only a week ago. Hoping all goes well for them on their journey when the time comes. For now, enjoy!

I'm looking to purchase a few American Holly Bushes in Vermont but my search is proving fruitless. I don't want to order on-line or from a big box store. I'd prefer to buy local. Any suggestions? Please & thank you. Photo credit: me.

I picked up this painted Vermont winter scene at a tag sale about ten years ago in vermont. I have redone the room it was in & don’t plan to hang it back on the wall. Wondering if I can locate the artist or family members to see if anyone wants it back. I have done some research but come up empty handed. I believe the artist name to be Marcy Ranford (or Rahford, Rochford). The other family names are Bill, Billy Sami and Zach but I have no idea if they share the same last name or not. Perhaps someone following this page may know them and send them my way if they want it back. Please share if you think it would help.
