CUTIE KING & QUEEN PARADE AND APPLICATIONS OPEN
Applications are now being accepted for the Cutie King & Queen Pageant and Cutie Parade, part of the North Webster Lions Club’s 80th Annual Mermaid Festival. The 2026 theme is “BACK TO THE 80’s.”
The Cutie Parade will be held on Wednesday June 17th., with lineup at 5:45 p.m. at the North Webster Community Church, previously the Church of God. The rain date is June 18th. The parade is open to all children under 14 as of June 1, and participation is required for pageant contestants. Parade scholarships totaling $30,000.00 will be awarded by the Shoop Sports and Youth Foundation, Inc.
The Cutie King & Queen Pageant will take place June 19th, at the North Webster Community Center at 7 p.m. The event is open to children ages 5–7 who also participate in the Cutie Parade. Pageant scholarships totaling $20,000 will be awarded.
Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children not participating. Applications are available at www.northwebsterlionsclub.com/APPLICATIONS.html or on the Lions Club page Mermaid Festival. The deadline is Friday June 5, and no late entries will be accepted.

We are offering a pre-sale for our 80th Mermaid Festival T-shirt. The logo is on the back of the shirt with a choice of 2 colors. Contact a Lions Member or contact Scott Fox @ [email protected] or by phone listed on the sheet. Orders due by June 1 so we can get them by the Mermaid Festival. We will have shirts on sale at the Festival as well, but we might not have the color nor size you want.

The 80th Mermaid Festival will be here before we know it! The Mermaid Festival Theme is the 80's to celebrate the 80th year of the Festival. Registration forms for the Cutie Parade and Pageant are now available on the website. The Queen of Lakes Registration Forms are also available. The Cutie registration forms can now be submitted electronically, or you can print and mail as in the past. Queen of Lakes Registration forms are now available as a fillable PDF. The Mermaid Festival 2026 will start on Wednesday June 17th with the Cutie Parade; The Cutie Pageant will be held on Friday the 19th and QOL Pageant will be held on Saturday the 20th in conjunction with the Mermaid Festival Parade.
