And the results are ... Another fantastic weekend of evening and learning to deal w chaos! Poor Heather was entered in the USEA event on Saturday but had trailer issues and couldn't get there. A huge shout out to the crew at Course Brook Farm for tweaking the schedule and allowing her to compete in the unrecognized on Sunday instead. What started with 6 people entering finished with only 3 actually competing but that is horses. Congrats to all!

Saturday - BNR Sr - Jane and Blue - 2nd (pictured here)
Sunday - Novice Rider Sr - Heather and Jacob - 1st
Sunday - Elem Rider Sr - Cil and Freya - 1st

Not interested in competing? No problem! A number of USEA ECP instructor Tom Davis' students are just looking to improve their riding and their relationship with their horse like this fox hunting pair! If you are looking to learn, he is happy to teach you. For more info about scheduling a lesson, email [email protected].

Congrats Heather on the purchase of Celtic Jewel! We are so excited to enjoy this journey with you. I was finally able to get a snippet of video to share as I was about to climb on a horse yesterday!

That's our Kate! We are so proud of you!!

That's our Kate! We are so proud of you!!

“The Liz Cochran Memorial Groom’s Award recognizes an outstanding groom who has had a large influence on their rider’s career and the health and well-being of the horses under their care. Nominees should epitomize the example set forth by Liz Cochran in setting the standard for a professional groom.”

Not sure I could summarize the amazing Kate Servais much better and we are so proud of her for receiving the Liz Cochran Memorial Groom’s Award in honor of Liz Cochran last night at the USEA Convention! I first met Kate while teaching clinics and she soon joined us as a working student before stepping up to become our head groom. To say Kate is invaluable is a huge understatement. My horses love her, and she truly embodies the highest standards of care.

Thank you Kate and to every other groom who works so incredibly hard in this sport. I’ve been in your shoes, and I know how difficult it can be. My horses and I salute you all 🧡
