Come see our a Capella Choir sing in this on Sunday at 3pm in our Cordier Auditorium!

MSO presents "Invocation" -- the 3rd concert of our 87th season. Repertoire includes "Invocation" by Gustav Holst, the US premiere of "Mighty River" by Errollyn Wallen, "Elegy for Matthew" by David Conte, and "Te Deum" by Baroque Wunderkind Marc-Antoine Charpentier.

This concert features several choral ensembles: Manchester Symphony Chorus, Manchester University A Ca****la Choir, and University Singers and Choral Union choirs from Purdue University Fort Wayne. We also welcome Dr. William Sauerland as guest conductor for one piece, and five soloists for the "Te Deum."

This weekend we had 2 of our music students and 1 of our instructors representing Manchester University in the IMEA Intercollegiate Band!

Nathaniel Pickett is a Junior Music Education major and was one of eight trumpets in the ensemble.

Braden Unruh is a Junior Software Engineering and Music Performance dual major and was one of four tubas in the ensemble.

Carter Vernon is our Woodwind instructor and is currently getting his performers certificate from Purdue University Fort Wayne.

We are so proud of these students and their representation of Music at Manchester University!
