Today is ... soooo Go Support Your Local Library!

Here’s 3 easy ways to get started:
1.) Get a library card (it’s free and usually just requires proof of residency!)
2.) Attend your local library’s events and programming.
3.) Advocate for increased support and funding.

A huge thank you to the many community organizations who joined us at We Are All Readers! Your presence helped make the day so special. You provided families with valuable information, meaningful resources, and fun, engaging activities for all ages.

We’re so grateful for your partnership and the care you bring to our community. While not all organizations are pictured, please know your contributions did not go unnoticed and were deeply appreciated.

We also extend our sincere thanks to our sponsors—your generous support makes this event possible and helps us continue bringing free, enriching experiences like this to our community.

What an incredible day at We Are All Readers! After a year away, it felt so good to bring this celebration back to our community. It was wonderful to see so many families come out to enjoy the activities, explore new books, and spend time connecting with our amazing authors.

From story times to hands-on fun, the energy throughout the day was truly special. Events like this highlight the power of diverse children’s literature and the importance of helping every child see themselves in the stories they read while also building understanding, empathy, and connection across experiences.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success. We’re already looking forward to next year!

Look for photos tomorrow but tonight I just want to say this event is a reminder of all that’s worth fighting for. 📚 📚
