🎉 Five years ago today, we took a leap of faith and purchased this building in the heart of North Hampton, Ohio formerly the old Lyons Club. At that time, it looked very different than it does today.
The upstairs had been completely closed off many years prior. Access was blocked. The windows were boarded up. So much of the building’s potential was hidden m, but we could see what it could become.
Over the last five years, we’ve worked to bring it back to life.
We reopened the upstairs, restored the windows, and transformed the space into offices for The Solomon Group with Coldwell Banker, while also running Comfort Living Buys Houses from the upper level. What was once dark and closed off is now bright, active, and full of purpose.
Downstairs, the event space has grown into a place where our community gathers for weddings, celebrations, meetings, baby showers and special moments that turn into lasting memories.
It’s truly come a long way.
And speaking of change, just about a week ago, North Hampton installed a brand-new water tower. The one you see in older photos (including this picture) has now been removed. It’s another reminder of how much our little community continues to grow and evolve.
We would absolutely love to see old photos of the building from its Lyons Club days or hear any stories from years past. Preserving the history while being part of its future means so much to us. We did discover a lot of pictures and memories when we bought the building, but if anybody else has any!
We are incredibly grateful to be part of this community that we love. Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the last five years.
