What are the hours? Take off is at first light & Weigh-Ins at 3 pm everyday! Thu - Fri: 1:30 pm - 7 pm

Is this just a fishing tournament? This event is an entire weekend of fun for families and people of all ages. Alongside the Bassmaster Elite tournament will be Summerfest, taking place in North
East Town Park. This will be a free-to-the-public outdoor festival taking place rain or shine. Summerfest will include all sorts of fun such as local food vendors, arts and crafts vendors, live music and beer garden, a “kids area” with designated activities and fun just for children, and other fun to be announced. What else is going on for this event? Stay tuned for local specials and events taking place around the county to promote and support the Bassmaster Elite. Parking will be available for all attendees at Ritchie Bros, 3201 Pulaski Hwy, North East, MD 21901. Shuttle buses will be running during the weigh-ins Thursday and Friday (August 13 & 14) and during Summerfest hours Saturday and Sunday (August 15 & 16). Handicap parking will be in the North East Middle School parking area with handicap Shuttles running the same days and times as listed above. With details and mapping announced as we get closer to the event date. What is Bassmaster Elite? Bassmaster Elite is the premier fishing tournament series in the world and will be coming to Cecil County August 13-16 and will be broadcast live on ESPN2. This event is the 7th of 8 elite tournaments taking place across the US in 2015. Professional anglers from all over the world will be converging upon Cecil County to fish the Upper Chesapeake Bay area, with qualifying anglers coming from as far away as Japan. The event is expected to draw up to 30,000 spectators. Live weigh-ins begin on Thursday, August 13th with the final weigh-ins occurring on Sunday, August 16th. This is a great opportunity to put your product in front of thousands of attendees. Selection of vendors will be at the discretion of the Bassmaster Festival Committee. For our food vendors, we will be seeking exclusivity in the various food categories. We are hoping to offer as many different local food vendors and local artisans as possible for this event which will draw many out-of-town visitors alongside county residents.
