The Charleston Food Truck Festival was founded by food truck owners in 2010 with the simple mission of bringing the first, and only true Food Truck Festival to the East Coast. Our goal has always been to make food trucks more approachable in Charleston and the Tri-County. Every year more and more regulations pop up from neighboring cities to curb these trucks. It is a constant battle with brick n mortar restaurant owners, hotels, politicians & government to find desirable locations to set up shop.
Well, on these glorious days, you don’t have to worry about chasing a truck down or running all over the city to try and find more than one truck set up. Come celebrate what has now become the largest Food Truck Festival in the South East with us. SO BIG, we had to add an entire day of festivities. In 2019, for the first time ever, our 8th Annual Festival is on January 26th & 27th in 2019, 10am-4pm both days. We are absolutely humbled by the growth, love and reception this event continues to receive. We want to take this moment to thank each and every person who has not only come out in attendance, but also the food truck owners, staff, partners, sponsors, musicians, rental companies, bartenders & volunteers. Because of y’all, this event has grown bigger and better each year. THANK YOU!
We are proud to announce that this year will be the largest we have ever hosted, and the most diverse. We aren’t just talking about trucks either! Rolling back to the same MASSIVE VENUE as the last two years, we are expanding the space with more trucks, more bars, more craft, retail & local purveyor tents as well as more adult games (axe throwing for one), larger kid zone, and mobile bar. This year we will also be adding a BLOODY MARY & MIMOSA BAR. As always, this is still a FREE EVENT which means FREE ADMISSION & FREE PARKING. This DOESN’T mean free drinks or food. You can however, skip the drink lines and buy drink tickets in advance. ALL BARS ACCEPT TICKETS OR CASH.
