Strathmore Youth Chorus provides a pre-professional choral experience to students grades 2 to 12 from diverse backgrounds. Five performing ensembles (Preparatory Chorus, Apprentice Chorus, Treble Chorus, Concert Chorus, and Tenor Bass Chorus) promote self-expression in singers, celebrate the diverse musical traditions of our residents, engage talented youth in joy-filled and uplifting music-making, and serve as “singing ambassadors of the arts” under the auspices of Strathmore.

OPEN REHEARSAL MAY 5-6
We are having an open rehearsal next week for anyone to come and observe and see if they are interested in auditioning! We have 5 core ensembles, dependent on grade and ability:
Preparatory for 2nd-5th graders, Tuesday, May 6, 5:15-6:15pm
Apprentice Chorus for 3rd-6th graders, Tuesday, May 6, 6:30-7:30pm
Treble Chorus for 5th-8th graders, Tuesday, May 6, 6:30-8:00pm
Concert Chorus for 7th-12th graders, Monday, May 5, 5:30-7:00pm
Tenor Bass Chorus, Monday, May 5, 6:45-8:15pm

All students need to do is sign up with this GOOGLE FORM so we know how many students to account for. Attached is a QR code or the signup form as well.
