So the club has raised our fee for renting the grounds. Some of this is due to the fact that we are actually there four days and the weekend rental did not include Thursday. Unfortunately, we will have to increase the cost for everyone to come this year.

The new price for the weekend, camping is included, will be $40 per person and $70 per couple.

We tried to still keep it as low as possible, but based on the number of participants the past few years and the increase, this is the best we could do.

We hope to see everyone there!

Important info about next years' gathering below.

The spring gathering is still on for May 16th-19th, 2024.

The fall gathering had a little snafu! Our normal dates were already booked and we have to change it to Sept 19th-22nd, 2024! I will send out an email letting everyone that came last year know, but wanted to do a quick update here!

Anybody coming this weekend to Uitwaaien, we will try to limit camping to around the clubhouse. We want to keep the range open unless we need it for overflow camping.

Good news everyone, we have decided to still hold the fall Uitwaaien gathering in September! After the spring gathering this past weekend and talking to everyone that came, we are back on!

It will be a different format now though. It is going to be more like the spring gathering. There may be some vendors attending or some impromptu classes, but it will be more about just getting together for the weekend.

The cost will be the same as the spring gathering, $25 per person for the weekend, camping included, with kids under 18 free (accompanied by an adult). You can pay on arrival, so no need to pre-register. However, if you are planning on attending, let me know if you can, so we have an idea of how many.

The dates are September 21-24, 2023. Hope to see you there!

Hi Everyone,

After a lot of soul searching we've decided to not hold the fall gathering anymore. We will still be holding the spring gathering this year alongside the WITS Outdoors advanced class. Both events will be held May 18-21, 2023.

I just wanted to give everyone advanced notice so you don't make plans for the fall gathering. I know a lot of you will be disappointed in this decision, but I think it's the right thing to do at this time.

We will be changing how you buy tickets to WITS Outdoors training classes as well as the spring Uitwaaien. Since I will also not be holding anymore PA Wilderness Skills classes, I will be discontinuing accepting payment through Square (how we normally did in the past). Going forward you will have to make payments through PayPal friends & family or email me at [email protected] and I can send you an invoice.

I'm sorry for any inconvenience this might cause.
