A little reminder for our club members that tomorrow, October 11th, we are invited to bring our antique tractors to the Maine Veterans' Homes - Augusta. We will follow the main entrance driveway, staying right, through the gate, onto the dirt road, to the top of the hill, for parking and unload. A parade of tractors will begin at 11:00 am, we then display our tractors in the center courtyard until 2:00 pm so the residents can get an up-close look at them. Lunch is provided for all tractor drivers, with other options available for purchasing inside.
These veterans, their families, and the workers at the home so appreciate this visit as many grew up with tractors. We are looking forward to seeing you here!
