You don’t have to earn God’s love through your performance. Because of Jesus’ finished work on the cross, there is no longer any sin or guilt standing between you and God. He loves you because He is love, and through Jesus, peace has been made between you and God forever. You can rest securely in His unconditional love.

Jesus taught that our eyes are the lamp of the body.
That means whatever repeatedly comes through our eyes eventually reaches our minds.

I've seen how true this principle is: Fear-filled entertainment can leave people struggling with fear long after the television is turned off. Constant negativity can produce a critical spirit. Po*******hy damages the heart, because what enters through the eyes doesn't stay there — it settles into the imagination.
The opposite is also true.

The more time we spend looking at God's Word, the more His promises begin renewing our thinking. Faith grows because truth has been given access to our hearts.

My friend, don't simply ask, "Is this wrong?" Ask yourself, "What is this producing in me?"

Your thoughts tomorrow are often being shaped by what you're choosing to look at today.

Some days, trusting God means taking one more step with tears in your eyes.

The prayer is still unanswered.
Someone you love is still struggling.
You cannot see what comes next.

You may wonder whether your fear means your faith is failing.
But you can turn to God with an honest heart and a trembling voice.

“Faith is when you praise God in the storm, you trust Him in the valley, and you follow Him in the dark.” —Corrie ten Boom

We can praise Him while grieving.
Trust His care while asking difficult questions.
Follow His Word without knowing how things will unfold.

Sometimes that means thanking Him for one small mercy.
Asking for help.
Choosing what is right when fear urges us another way.

Bring Him the heart you have today.

“Lord, I cannot see the way ahead. Help me trust You and take the next faithful step.”

You may not know where this road will lead.
The God you trusted in brighter days is still with you here.

As I was reading through Matthew chapters 5, 6, and 7, I realized something that deeply challenged me. These chapters are filled with the words of Jesus, yet one statement especially captured my attention: "The light of the body is the eye..." (Matthew 6:22 KJV).

Jesus was teaching that what enters our lives through our eyes eventually reaches our minds. Whatever we continually look at begins to shape our thinking, our imagination, and ultimately the direction of our lives.

If we fill our eyes with God's Word, our minds become filled with truth, wisdom, and spiritual understanding. But if we continually fix our attention on fear, negativity, impurity, or darkness, those things also find their way into our hearts and begin influencing how we think.

My friend, your eyes are a gateway. Every day you're deciding what will enter your mind. Choose carefully. Fix your eyes on what strengthens your faith, draws you closer to Jesus, and fills your heart with His light.
