Anthony Fowler Jr. is a comic book inker and illustrator for DC Comics, IDW Publishing, and various others. Notable works include Star Trek Deviations: Threads of Destiny #1 for IDW Publishing, and Batman vs. Bigby: A Wolf In Gotham #4-6, Absolute Wonder Woman Annual #1, and Cyborg #4 for DC Comics. Anthony hails from St. Louis, MO and currently resides in Chicago, IL.

We’re dedicated to bringing you the best artist alley we possibly can! It’s time to start announcing the peoples! First up, we have Dark Pink Comics in the building! Here’s some quick info on Christopher R. Ford the creator!

BIO:
Christopher R. Ford – Writer x Creator. Christopher R. Ford is a storyteller and creative from Houston, TX. His professional writing career began in 2017 when he published his first book, PLAYIN’ CATCH WITH DAD, a semi-autobiographical children’s book about his relationship with his father. He turned that first book into a trilogy, following it with SHOOTIN’ HOOPS WITH DAD (2019), and KICKIN’ IT WITH DAD (2021). A life-long fan of comics, he decided to take that love to the next level on February 18th, 2018. After walking out of the theater after seeing BLACK PANTHER, he knew he had to do something, create something. This led him to write and create SUPER BLACK, a docuseries about the history of Black comic book characters which is currently in pre-production. He then began work on bringing DARK PINK to life, a story he has been waiting to tell since he was in college. And after a historic launch of Dark Pink Vol. 1 (top 1% of the most successful comic book Kickstarter releases of all-time), he is working on expanding the Dark Pink Universe and releasing multiple titles moving forward!

Dark Pink Synopsis:
Dark Pink is an action-thriller comic taking place in 1980’s New Orleans featuring monsters, mystery, and music. It stars aspiring detective Dara Pinkerton. A woman with a mysterious past and a golden arm on a mission to find her missing parents in the Big Easy. It is a mix of steampunk futurism, classic movie monsters, and pop culture references with a dash of dark humor thrown in for good measure. And it all goes down to a rockin’ 80’s soundtrack incorporating music and lyrics in a way never-before seen in a comic book. The series features art from award winning Marvel and DC artists and colorists like Robyn Smith, Juliet Nnkea, Marco Lesko, and Keron Grant.

We are pleased to announce another outstanding guest, Angela Barnes
Angela Barnes is an award winning director known for her sharp eye, quick wit, and gift for balancing action, humor and heart. She has steadily built an impressive resume of premium television that extends into just about every genre. Her directing credits include the series ATLANTA, LOOT, MYTHIC QUEST, TEENAGE BOUNTY HUNTERS, LEGACIES, A DIFFERENT WORLD, as well as the Marvel series IRONHEART and DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN. She has a clear instinct for ensemble storytelling and brings the tonal agility today’s genre bending series demand. She’s based in Atlanta, Georgia, where she lives with her two boys and their cat.
