Unfortunately we are canceling this weekends Retro show. We were unable to find volunteers. We will see how the summer goes and maybe try to add an additional show but as of right now our next scheduled show is August 30th

This Sunday is supposed to be our first Retro Hunter Shows of the season. If you are planning on attending please let me know so I can get an idea of attendance. We are still looking for volunteers to help with set up, show day and clean up. We have open positions that must be filled such as: ring gate, entry desk (2), outside jump crew (many) clean up, etc. If I don’t fill these positions we will cancel the show.
It’s supposed to be a gorgeous weekend and we are looking forward to it!

Beautiful day for a horse show!

We are looking forward to tomorrows horse show! It is going to be a hot day but we are confident we can keep things moving along and be finished before the heat of the day. A few reminders:
We DO have a food vendor so bring your appetite!
We have added an “open 18” hunter” division in place of pony hunter.
We will be looking for a few helping hands to set the outside course tomorrow afternoon.

Our first retro show of the season was a BLAST!! Huge thank you to all who came and participated! The show brought in $3100 and after “horse show fees” like ribbons, judge, etc, every penny goes straight to the rescue! 👏 THANK YOU ALL! We are looking forward to the next show on June 22!

⭐️ Class list addition! ⭐️
We are adding an “open 18”ish hunter division,” before or in place of pony hunter division.
This division is open to any age rider on horses or ponies. Course may be trotted. Under saddle class will be walk trot only.

Due to the weather forecast we are RESCHEDULING the May 4th retro show to Memorial Day Monday the 26th. We will look forward to seeing you all there!

Some questions we have received about these shows:
* attire is casual! “Retro” attire not required but always fun.
* these shows are laid back and welcoming, perfect for green horses and riders.
* the outside course is not mandatory, but is considered part of the division.
*the outside course is very inviting. There’s a low option and a high option for each fence. Typically about 18”-2’ and about 2’6” if someone requests higher or lower we are happy to accommodate, this is FUN.
* there will be open schooling on the outside course in the afternoon before those classes start.
*horses welcome to come just for schooling (not showing) for a $15 and negative coggins required.
