After reviewing the number of candidate meet & greets and forums already happening around town, we’ve decided not to add another one before early voting.

There are several opportunities being hosted by local parties and community groups, so we encourage everyone to check those pages for dates and details.

We absolutely plan to host a larger debate-style event ahead of the main election once early voting wraps up.

When we host something, we want it to be impactful and well attended, and timing matters. Thank you all for understanding.

We’re hosting a Nicholasville–Jessamine County Candidates’ Forum this spring ahead of the Primary Election, and we want your input!

This will be a nonpartisan, informational forum (not a debate) focused on:

What each position does
What candidates would be responsible for
Questions tailored to the specific role each candidate is running for
Helping the community understand who the candidates are and what they stand for

We’ll also share a question submission form so the community can submit questions in advance (we cannot guarantee time to ask every question submitted)

Which would you attend?
Weeknight
Saturday morning
Saturday mid-day

(We’ll host another forum closer to the General Election in September.)

We appreciate each of you for participating in such an important community event.
