The Race is a day away, please read for race day instructions. Registration is closed tonight but will open for race day signup.

1/2 Marathon Start Time: 8:30AM
10K Start Time: 9:00AM
Runners, the race will be here tomorrow. Good weather is bringing record signups! With over 200 registered runners, we ask you to read the following and follow any instructions given by the race team to keep things running smoothly.
Key Items (Read this at a minimum):
Registration will open at 7:30AM.
1/2 Marathon will start at 8:30AM.
10K will start at 9:00AM.
Cutoff Time for both events is 12:30PM.
For 1/2 Marathon Runners, the first 10K section of the course must be completed before 10:30AM.
Parking GPS Location: 101 Swamp Rd, Newtown, PA 18940 (Please follow the parking volunteer's directions)
We are guests of the Tyler State Park, please be courteous to all park patrons. Any runner found acting inappropriately towards park patrons will be disqualified.
This is a trail race! Both the 10k and 1/2 Marathon are run on trails through the park. Trail shoes are not required but recommended.
PARKING
We will be starting at the Boathouse in Tyler State Park. The park has entrances on both Newtown-Richboro Road and the Newtown Bypass. We will be parking in the Playfield Maze Parking Lot followed by the Boardwalk Parking Lot. Please drive safely through the park, the speed limit is 15mph and other park visitors, volunteers, bikers, and runners will be sharing the road with you. Please follow our volunteer's parking instructions.
Post Race Refreshments and Food
We will have Wawa breakfast sandwiches for all finishers (1 per runner), coffee, and the standard assortment of bananas, water, and pretzels.
Course Aid Stations
10K - We will have 1 aid station on the course at mile 4.1 and refreshments at the finish line.
1/2 Marathon - We will have 3 aid stations on the course: mile 4.1, mile 6.1 (start/finish), mile 9.9.

Course Time Limits
12:30PM Cut-Off for Both Distances. If you feel you cannot meet that time, please notify us immediately. We will start you earlier but please note you will not be eligible for age group awards.
1/2 Marathon - If you are running the 1/2 Marathon, you must arrive at the 10K Start/Finish by 10:30AM (2 hours).
Awards
10K and 1/2 Marathon: First overall male and female will receive an overall winner award. Top 3 male and top 3 female in 10-year age groups will also receive an award.
Age groups are: 19 and under, 20 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60 - 69, 70 and over.
** If you are signed up for the 1/2 Marathon and decide to drop down to 10k the morning of the race, we can make that adjustment. If you decide to drop to the 10k after the race started, you may do so but will not be eligible to receive an age group award for the 10k. **
Results
The race will be chipped time by CompuScore. All times are based off gun time.
Results will be posted on the race page shortly after runners cross the finish line.
To Access: go to looneyleprechaun.org/results and select the race distance and year you'd like to see the results of. Note: Adjustments may be made during the event and won’t be finalized until a few hours after the last runner crosses the timing mat.
Bathrooms
Men's and Women's Bathrooms are located at the boathouse. Due to the volume of runners, there's also a bathroom 1/2 mile from the start/finish that is a perfect pre-race warmup distance.
Race Day Registration
We will ask you to sign up on looneyleprechaun.org so we can integrate you with the timing system and get all the required waivers signed. We will accept cash but will provide a coupon code for online registration. So please bring your phone!
$65 for the 10K
$75 for the 1/2 Marathon
Race Shirts
All runners registered before the shirt deadline are guaranteed a shirt given at time of bib pickup. We have a limited supply of extra shirts for size swaps. Post-race, any extra shirts will be available on a first come first serve basis.
Finishers Awards
All runners will receive a finishers award, simply cross the finish line!
Transfers, Deferrals, Refunds
The entry list is final, bibs are printed, timing system is programmed, and all supplies for the race have been purchased. We cannot accommodate any transfer, deferral, or refunds at this time.
