We at Back 40 Pride & Power would like to thank everyone who came out to support us this weekend, from the parade to the bands Saturday evening. Had a little tough luck Saturday morning with Mother Nature but we pulled up our boot straps and rolled on. Ended up with several cars showing up after noon and even a few more trucks. We kept a steady crowd all night with the band which put on a great show. So again thank you to our sponsors, the Jasper county fair board, everyone who helped put on the show, participated, just came out to look around and eat and a big thanks to our 2 vendors and the beer tent who stuck it out for us, fed and kept everyone hydrated Saturday afternoon and evening! Looking forward to next year, bigger and better! Thank you all!

Not letting a little rain stop us! Food vendors are open the rain has stopped and the roads are drying off. Bring out your cool stuff, bring your family, come eat some delicious food and drink a shake up, have some Rosie jeans sweet tea and look at some cool trucks and tractors. CZ’s D&D concessions and Rosie Jeans sweet tea and Jesus are ready for you! Beer tent opens at 11 this morning and some super awesome entertainment this evening starting at 6!Hope to see you all out here today at the Jasper county fairgrounds.

Got a few starting to roll in this afternoon out here at the Jasper county fairgrounds. Beer wagon opens at 3. Food vendors open at 5 and light parade at 8! Hope to see you here

T-minus 37 hours till showtime!! Here are some important things to take note of
Registration starts at 9am Friday we will be registering trucks till 6pm Friday registration will run from 9-2 Saturday. If you show up after 6 Friday we will park you and get you registered Saturday morning and if you show up after 2 Saturday you just won’t be judged but feel free to come have a good time
Jordan J will be on the grounds all weekend if you need parked late Friday and we’ll get you taken care of
We plan on rolling out for the light parade at around 8pm Friday the route is posted below, trucker light show to follow open to the public come out and see the beautiful rigs that keep the world moving
Judging will be begin at 2pm Saturday awards will be at 5 south of the grandstands prior to the bands starting at 6 don’t forget your lawn chairs!!
Food vendors will fire up Friday evening in time for supper.
The girls will be selling 50/50 tickets at the registration table drawing will be done with awards must be present to win.
Most importantly this event is free to the public, come out and support your community I always hear how there’s nothing happening in our neck of the woods well here’s a chance to change that. All our profits are going to a great cause and it’s a chance to get everyone together for a good time in scenic Newton IL. Hope to see you all there!
