Sugar Grove Gathering Place Beautiful venue with a lawn, 1870 grange hall, an elegant rustic barn, large lawn, tall grasses, wildflowers, with a path leading to a two acre pond.

Our 1870 Grange Hall, new large barn (heated and air-conditioned), and our lawn area are available for weddings, showers, family gatherings, and corporate events. Our wedding service includes consultations for planning your dream wedding.

I am so giddy! I want to dance! We have 10 slots left for 2027 weddings and then....yes, I am going to schedule some concerts! Saturday night's wedding was so awesome, the sunset amazing, the stars, the moon, the swaying native grasses.....!!!! We absolutely must share the Sugar Grove experience!!! Hold me to it, friends!!!

We have a special going on until October 31st! For all couples who book by then for a 2027 wedding, we will include the planner/day-of-coordinator package ($1500 value)! There is so much included in our packages, you won't believe it! New in 2027 will be a "ceremony only" package for Fridays where you can use the barn for getting ready, take photos on the property, then have your ceremony inside or outside. Then have your reception elsewhere; there are some great reception venues in Newton I can share! Let's team up! Message us for more info!

Hello, all! We will soon be changing our name to Sugar Grove Gathering Place, since our vineyards are gone and will be changing over to prairie over the next few years! Right now, the vines have turned into super tall corn! It is quite a tunnel going down the long lane to the 1870 Grange Hall and Event Barn!

2027 is beginning to shape up! We are half booked for next year. That is not the most exciting part! We have upgraded our planning process to be much more visionary, intentional, and tailored to each couple's priorities and personalities! 2027 couples, you can expect a big boost of stress reliever in the form of an even better process!
