A beautiful day yesterday celebrating Laura. Thank you to everyone who donated to the American Heart Association, came out to walk in both Boston AND Denver, and purchased and
wore T-shirts with love. Thank you.
At events like these everyone has their own story. An excited mother of a survivor came up to me asking if I was Laura hoping to exchange happy stories. When I said no I’m her sister, she asked if Laura was here. I just put my head down. She said she was very sorry. The love and excitement that showed in her eyes for her daughter who lived through a cardiac event was so powerful and so loving it was a great reminder that there are wonderful things happening every minute. It feels so much better to celebrate goodness, even with strangers, than to be pi**ed off about bad things that may happen in our own lives.
Laura thank you for the pant wetting laughs and bringing us together. Forever in our hearts.

We have 23 people on the Live Like Laura Boston heart walk a team, 65 people walking around with the new green Live like Laura t shirts or sweatshirts, and have raised $2350 for the American Heart Association! We would like to welcome our newest members Erin Kelly Walsh, Suzanne Hurlburt, and Leigh Thomas.

The Boston Heart Walk will take place on September 7. You can sign up here for the Live Like Laura team. There is no registration fee or donation minimum.
