LATE NIGHT IN THE FALLS IS THIS FRIDAY!

Come spend your Friday evening in Historic Downtown Newton Falls for Late Night in the Falls, from 6:00–9:00 p.m.

Many of our downtown businesses will be staying open late, usually until 8 or 9 p.m., so come downtown, stroll the sidewalks, shop local, grab something to eat, and enjoy the evening.

WE’RE STILL LOOKING FOR A MUSICIAN!

If you’re a local musician, singer, acoustic act, or small group and would like to set up and play in the alley, we’d love to have you. It’s a great opportunity to showcase your talent in a unique setting right in the heart of our historic downtown. Message me if you’re interested.

VENDORS ARE WELCOME TOO!

Vendors are welcome to set up along the sidewalks in front of businesses that are not open. If you’d like to participate, send me a message and we’ll get you a spot.

Let’s fill downtown with people, music, shopping, food, and community this Friday night.

Looking for a unique place to perform?

Emilia’s Sole Alleata “Emilia’s Sun Alley” is welcoming musicians to play during Late Night in the Falls, held on the first Friday of every month in Newton Falls’ Downtown Historic District.

Upcoming Dates:

• October 2 (filled)

As our downtown shops, restaurants, and businesses stay open later, Emilia’s Sole Alleata comes alive with music, conversation, and the charm of small-town America. Whether you’re a solo acoustic artist, saxophonist, guitarist, singer-songwriter, or small duo, we’d love to have you help create the evening’s atmosphere.

Late Night in the Falls runs from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., but you’re welcome to set up earlier.

Our alley is performer-friendly and includes:
- Permanent architectural accent lighting along the brick walls
- A dedicated spotlight focused on the performance area
- Electrical outlets available for amplifiers and equipment
- Café seating in a relaxed, intimate setting

There’s no stage pressure and no cover charge, just a beautiful brick alley where your music becomes part of the downtown experience while visitors explore the shops and restaurants of the Downtown Historic District.

UPDATED NEWTON FALLS COMMUNITY EVENT CALENDAR!

As we head into the final months of 2026, there are still plenty of wonderful events and activities happening right here in Newton Falls!

From craft shows and community gatherings to holiday celebrations, shopping events, and family-friendly activities, our community has a lot to look forward to as we finish out the year.

The Newton Falls Area Commerce Association has updated our Community Event Calendar to help residents and visitors stay informed about upcoming events throughout town.

Be sure to save the updated calendar and share it with your family and friends! We encourage everyone to come out, participate in these events, support our local businesses, and enjoy everything our historic community has to offer.

This one-of-a-kind outdoor space features historic brick walls, permanent accent lighting, overhead café lighting, electrical outlets, tables and seating, and a dedicated spotlight area perfect for live musicians or performers.

And throughout the year, the alley transforms with the seasons. From pumpkins, mums and fall displays to Halloween and an elaborate Christmas setting, the space is decorated throughout the year to create an entirely different atmosphere for your event.

CALLING ALL MUSICIANS & PERFORMERS!

With the warmer weather here, Emilia’s Sole Alleata “Emilia’s Sun Alley” is open to musicians and performers looking for a unique place to showcase their talents in the heart of Newton Falls’ Downtown Historic District.

And you don’t have to wait for Late Night in the Falls!

If you’re a musician, singer-songwriter, saxophonist, guitarist, acoustic duo, or another type of performer and you’d like a place to perform on a Friday or Saturday evening, or another available time, our alley is open to you FREE OF CHARGE.

Have a following of your own? Bring them downtown. Want to introduce your music to a new audience? Come play. Just looking for a great atmosphere to perform in? We’d love to have you.

And there’s plenty for your audience to enjoy while they’re here. Right next to the alley are a coffee shop and a brand-new candy and ice cream shop, so visitors can grab a coffee, drink, snack, candy, or ice cream and bring it into the alley to sit back and enjoy the music.

There is no charge to use the alley, and this is not a paid performance opportunity. We simply want to provide a welcoming space where local and regional talent can perform while bringing more music, people, and activity to downtown Newton Falls.

The alley features café seating, permanent architectural lighting, a dedicated performance spotlight, and electrical outlets for your equipment.

All we ask is that you contact us ahead of time so we can make sure the alley isn’t reserved for a private event. Once your date is confirmed, we’ll also help advertise your performance and let people know when you’ll be here.

MUSIC IN THE ALLEY IS ON!

Join us tonight at Emilia’s Sole Alleata in Downtown Newton Falls for live music with Chito Torres from 6–9 PM!

Tonight is also Late Night in the Falls, so come downtown, grab some dinner, visit the shops and businesses staying open late, and then stop by the alley for some live music.

Chito performs a wide variety of music, from country and pop to punk, so there should be a little something for everyone.

LATE NIGHT IN THE FALLS TONIGHT!

We’ll be open today at The Merc from 8:30 a.m. until 9 p.m.-ish for Late Night in the Falls!

Come spend your Friday evening in Newton Falls, stroll through downtown, grab something to eat, and check out all of our locally owned mom-and-pop shops and restaurants.

Weather permitting, we’ll also have live music in the alley this evening. If Mother Nature cooperates and keeps the rain away, the music will be playing!

There’s something special about seeing downtown busy on a Friday night, so come out, wander around, shop local, eat local, and enjoy Newton Falls.
