ATTN ALL:
Program update
As many of you know me personally on different levels I just want to say the past 6 or so years have been absolutely amazing. Every single second I’ve got to spend teaching the sport I love has been an absolute dream. I started the program to help bring a level of cheer I felt was missing from the area and to give kids the opportunity to really grow thier skills and confidence in the sport. I am so thankful for every single child I have gotten to coach or mentor in any way and I hope I have taught them more than just cheer but valuable life lessons about confidence, self discipline , hard work, kindness, honesty , positivity and more.
But as many of you know, the last few years have been some of the hardest years of my life. I lost my older son a few years back, then another big life adjustment last year and I think it may be time to finally slow down a little bit. And I want to say thank you to everyone who understands that and has supported me throughout the years with thier kindness always.
I am going back to school to further my nursing education and I have to put Ryder and school first.
With all of that being said, at this seasons conclusion , this will be our last season. I will never say never , maybe one day I will re start the program , but right now this is what I have to do.
This is an extremely hard decision as I truly love this sport so much and love teaching it. But I have to focus on some other things at the moment. But I also want to be an example for the kids in the sense of, it is ok to do things for yourself to better yourself. And this is what I need for myself and Ryder at the moment.
I would still love to help the community in cheer so if teams need help please don’t hesitate to reach out! I would love to help!
I will also still be offering private tumbling lessons so please don’t hesitate to set those up!
I want to thank every single person that has ever been involved with this program from the kids, to the parents, to the coaches, to the facilities we’ve used, to my parents for supporting my dreams and everyone in between. Some of these kids/ families have been with me since year one and even been there when my son passed and I want to say I love you all for the support even beyond cheer and I truly hope I can stay involved in your life’s.
I love you all!!!
Here’s to finishing strong this season and new chapters!
